Remote Learning Lesson Plans
The Remote Learning Lesson Plans are adapted from the IQWST Teacher Edition to support continuous learning. Each plan condenses what is taught with specific teaching recommendations and identifies the digital resources, print resources, and materials needed to teach and learn IQWST at home.

Support for Diverse Learners
Differentiation and Other Strategies sections of individual lessons often provide specific strategies, and the Differentiation section of the IQWST Overview provides general strategies that can be applied across lessons. Overall, IQWST embeds pedagogical practices in each and every lesson to provide equitable opportunities to learn for every IQWST student.

Addressing Unfinished Learning
To assist teachers with the implementation of the IQWST curriculum, the Louisiana Guides to Implementation provide guidance regarding how IQWST units correlate with the Louisiana Student Standards for Science (LSSS). The IQWST curriculum provides ample instructional guidance for teachers. The Guides go a step further to point out places in which teachers may need to make strategic decisions considering student needs and time availability.
Assessment
ONPAR is a U.S. Department of Education funded project, and partner to Activate Learning, developing computerized classroom assessments to support teaching and assessing students’ knowledge of complex mathematics and science. These assessments integrate into IQWST classrooms, and are appropriate for use with all students, using engaging multi-media content to greatly reduce accessibility barriers for English learners and other students who struggle with language-heavy traditional tests.

Digital Editions with LMS Integration: All programs are available in digital and print. Our Interactive Digital Editions integrate with several LMS systems, to include: Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, Clever and Classlink. This integration helps teachers as they adapt to the challenges of remote teaching.
