Conceptua Math® Interactive Visual Math Teaching Tools
The Conceptua Math® free math teaching tools provide flexible options for using models to describe simple math problems and how equations can represent the models.
Each tool provides a choice of models with controls for which elements are visible and whether the elements are linked. Use the tools to demonstrate how fractions, whole numbers and simple equations can be represented using models.
You can start working with your student(s) by writing a prompt at the top. Then begin to solve the problem using the model, then show how changing the model affects the equation. Finally, you can hide the model and work directly with the equation.
