Arjan Khalsa

Arjan Khalsa is the developer of Conceptua Math and a leader in the mathematics education community. He co-directed the Digital Learning Initiative for the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (NCSM) and serves on the Board of Directors for Teachers2Teachers Global (t2tglobal.org). He is a regular presenter at national and state level mathematics education conferences where he often reports on his experiences observing and co-teaching in classrooms across the country and around the world.

Arjan focuses on the intersection between technology, teaching practices, and investigation-rich classrooms. He has been a pioneer in educational technology, curriculum development, research, and ed-tech entrepreneurship for 30 years. Arjan has served as principal investigator on several federally-funded research and development projects.

Prior to Activate Learning and Conceptua Math, Arjan co-founded IntelliTools, Inc. He developed the company into a special education leader and sold it successfully to Cambium Learning in 2006. He co-founded the Assistive Technology Industry Association (www.atia.org), and he helped write IDEA 2002.
